Clear Braces Invisilign
For many years, braces have been the traditional way of correcting crooked teeth or gaps.
More than just aligning your teeth, braces help you get better dental hygiene and help prevent excessive buildup of the plaque that leads to cavities and gum disease.
For many, braces also help correct the way that your upper and lower teeth meet – allowing your teeth to chew your food more effectively.
Invisalign is a technology that enables teeth straightening WITHOUT the need of braces.
It uses a proprietary software to create a series of custom-made, removable clear aligners that gradually move your teeth to an ideal position.
Whether you’re looking into getting braces or invisalign, our office offers a complimentary evaluation to determine if you’re a good candidate for orthodontics.

More About Clear Braces Invisalign
Invisalign takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created just for you.
These aligner trays are made of smooth, comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligner will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements that Dr. Marin plans for you.
There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you’ve always wanted. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth!

Teeth Bonding – White Fillings
White fillings are made of a reinforced composite resin material. There are different compositions depending on the application.
We use dull-but-strong for the back molars where fillings are subject to heavy biting forces. We use cosmetic-but-weaker for front teeth where the ability to match natural tooth structure is needed.
Our office exclusively uses tooth-colored composite filling material.
Because of their aesthetics and high durability, cosmetics have become the material of choice for restoring small portions of the tooth.
Dental Crown
A dental crown is a dental restoration that replaces the outer shell of the tooth.
When a tooth has suffered heavy damage from decay, fracture or has been subject to a root canal treatment, a crown is needed to restore and protect the core of the tooth.
To make a crown your tooth has to be prepared and a mold is sent to the lab for a custom made restoration that will be permanently cemented to your tooth.
Dental Bridges
Dental bridges have been the traditional way of replacing a missing tooth for several decades. It involves using neighbor teeth to the missing one to anchor a fixed structure. The process is similar to the fabrication of a crown. The anchor teeth are prepared, a mold or impression is taken and sent to the laboratory and a multiple teeth structure is made to be permanently cemented to your existing teeth.
Although less popular due to the advent of dental implants, bridges are still the treatment of choice when the patient is looking for a fixed restoration and does not meet the criteria for a dental implant.
Dental Implants
A Dental Implant is a method of replacing one or multiple teeth using your remaining bone to anchor a root-shaped post.
Dental Implants are nothing new. They’ve been around for several decades and because they have a high rate of long-term success and because you don’t need to involve any additional teeth, they have become the standard of care for replacing missing teeth.
Placing a Dental Implant involves careful planning to make sure you are a good candidate and minimize the potential of negative results.

Dental Implants – what you need to know!
Whether you’re missing one or multiple teeth, dental implants have become the standard of care for restoring aesthetics and function, and with the latest developments they have become more affordable than ever.
A careful evaluation is critical for the success of the procedure. The actual implant placement procedure takes only a few minutes and can be done with local anesthesia. Adequate healing time is also needed for the implant to attach to your tissues and provide anchor for a crown or bridge.
If you’d like to know if you’re a good candidate for dental implants, we have a team of experts in the management of smile reconstruction to discuss your options. You can contact our office for a complimentary implant consultation.

Zoom II
Safe, Long-Lasting Teeth Stain Removal
The treatment consists of:
Four sessions of 15 minutes with a lamp designed to speed up and complete the treatment in 1 hour.
The treatment does not affect the enamel because it does not break through the enamel. It breaks through the yellow color to remove stains and bring tooth back to its regular color.
In order to achieve maximum effectiveness and patient comfort, the gel has been reformulated to help prevent tooth sensitivity and increase enamel luster.
Researchers from Loma Linda University CA, conducted a research to determine if the enamel of the tooth was affected in any way by the whitening. Their conclusion was that “under conditions of the study, treatment with Zoom 2 gel following the manufacture’s instruction does not adversely affect the micro-hardness (strength of tooth) and surface morphology (tooth surface) of human enamel.”
Researchers also found that Zoom 2 has 73% less transient tooth sensitivity than the original Zoom.
